Oyster Bay Bach

Situated in Tory Channel, Marlborough Sounds, this bach is a modern replacement of an original old house on a water-front site in Oyster Bay.
Whilst the original house is past its use-by date, a more recent, somewhat nondescript building on the site is to be retained. The new bach, by contrast, is modern in form and function. It addresses the existing building by linking decks and stretching a new roof over an existing outdoor cooking area. This adds functionality and year-round useability.
The new bach includes the main cooking and living pavilion along with new sleeping and bathrooms.
