The brief was to demolish an earthquake prone building in Nelson’s main street and replace it with an economical retail premises, divided into two tenancies. The building is 9m wide with a footprint of 200m2. Brendon designed folded core ten steel cladding panels to create a facade of strong depth, shadow and colour.
This project was designed by Brendon during his time at Arthouse Architecture.
